Hi, I’m Martin. 

I was born in Seal Beach, CA. Moved to Rock Hill, SC at 12yo.  Graduated from Northwestern HS then entered the USAF and was stationed at F.E. Warren, Cheyenne WY.  I attended Winthrop University for a short while then moved to Arizona to attend UAT.  A year before I could graduate I was offered a job at Digital Domain.  I spent 16 years at DD. After 70+ feature films, I was laid-off after the company was forced into Chap 11 by Tenor Capital.  After a few months of rest and surf, I took the opportunity to Photo document Venice Beach full time.  In 2018 I left California to be closer to my father who was having some health issues.  The following year I started racing SUP.  After a few seasons racing, I used the experience to set the foundation for OKONA.
